An 18th century baroque convent and church converted into a modern hotel. This transformation was undertaken with great respect to the original architecture and its thick walls still manage to emanate a sense of palpable peace and tranquillity. The rooms and suites are very comfortable and offer all a demanding visitor may need. There is also a small swimming pool, solarium and “tropical” garden, in addition to a very good restaurant - Las Bóveda – offering excellent food, based on local fresh fish and seafood. The Jerez wine cellars, the Vistahermosa are close by as well as some of the best fish restaurants one can dream of. The Montecastillo and Sancti Petri golf courses, the sea and beautiful beaches are also nearby.

From Seville: Head to Jerez de la Frontera on the E5 and take the exit to N345 heading for Jerez. From there, follow the signs to Puerto Santa Maria. The Monasterio de San Miguel is in the town centre.
