Hotels are the Hotel Commercianti, Hotel Novecento, Hotel Orologio and the recently inaugurated Hotel Corona d'Oro 1890. Despite some common features, each one has a different character. The relatively simple interiors of the Hotel Orologio, in comparison to some of its more luxurious sister hotels, are more than made up by the amazing views over the Piazza Maggiore, one of the most beautiful Italian medieval squares. Located just in front of the Town Hall’s ancient clock tower, from where it derives its name, this charming little hotel offers old world character and atmosphere in equal measure with comfortable and well decorated rooms. Couple this to the Hotel Orologio’s location and it becomes a really excellent base from which to discover Bologna’s cultural and gastronomical wealth.

As you will see from the photographs taken by us, we are next to Piazza Maggiore therefore from whatever direction you come, follow the signs to the “centro”
if arriving by car
and you are not familiar with the city, mark the roads on the map that arrive at the hotel.
It is possible for hotel guests to obtain parking permission, which comprises a bus ticket to travel around freely, valid on all buses for 24 hours. Please ask at the reception of the hotel. .
If arriving by plane
and you need transport to and from the airport, we can book you an accompanying car through CoSePuRi, .
