This secluded 18th century mansion has been restored and transformed with great care and affection into a truly wonderful accommodation. Torre de Ruesga exudes elegance, sobriety and charm - its Palatine architecture blending in seamlessly with the exquisite décor to create a great atmosphere. The large living rooms, for example, are decorated with frescoes by the 19th century Catalan painter Leon Criach. They are excellent places in which to read a book or play a game of cards. Should you wish to indulge in a game of snooker then where better than to play on a century old table encrusted with ivory. Rooms, of course, carry on this vain, sumptuous large and comfortable to the last. The Torre de Ruesga also boasts tranquil grounds that take in a carefully tended garden, swimming pool gym and sauna. There are also fine views of the “Sierra del Hornijo” and the “Montes del Inferno” (the mountains of hell, no less) to enjoy. All in all, the combination of seclusion and beautiful decoration makes this the perfect place to relax and unwind and it is no wonder the hotel has won numerous awards.

ll	Tips & Getting There

From Madrid (365 Km):
1. Take the N-I road until Burgos.
2. In Burgos follow the signs in direction of Santander.
3. 12 km after Burgos take the exit “Sotopalacios” and then follow the C-629 in direction of Villarcayo.
4. In Villarcayo, follow the same road in direction of Bilbao.
5. After having passed through Bocos, Gayángos, Baranda and Villalázara, you will arrive at a large roundabout. Continue on the same road, which is now called N-629.
6. At the exit of the next village, Quintana-Sopeña, at the height of a Repsol petrol station, take a turn to the left in direction of Laredo. The road is still the N-629.
7. Continuing on that road you will reach Ramales de la Victoria. At the exit of this village, turn left in direction of Arredondo-Valle, and continue on the CA-261.
8. After 5 km you will arrive in Valle. Welcome.
The road is good. If you prefer driving on the highway though, you can choose going via Bilbao, although it is farther away
1. Take the highway from Madrid to En Bilbao. In Bilbao follow the A-8 in direction of Santander.
2. Take the exit No 173 (Colindres) in direction of Limpias, Ampuero, Burgos (N-629).
3. After 20km, at the entry to the village of Ramales de la Victoria, turn right in direction of Arredondo-Valle on the CA-261.
4. After 5 km you will arrive in Valle.
