La Rambla and Raval
This unique, lively and colourful boulevard runs from the Plaça de Catalunya down to the port, lined with newspaper and book stands, interspersed with bird and flower stalls. Thriving commerce has its centre in one of the side streets, the Portaferrissa, with its many fashionable shops, Theatres, cinemas, bars, restaurants and hotels.

The Barri Gótic
Forms the very heart of the old town and has a remarkable concentration of beautiful medieval Gothic buildings just a couple of blocks northeast of the Ramblas

Olympic harbour

Ribera District

The church of Santa Maria del Mar,is the symbol of this maritime empire, a superb 14th century Gothic building. La Boquería
Also known as the Mercat de Sant Josep (Saint Joseph's market), the Boqueria is famous for the quality of its products. It is located on the site of the courtyard of a church, officially called Sant Josep.

Tibidabo is the highest point of the Serra de Collserola hills, an extensive woodland area that has been converted into a metropolitan park 500 metres above sea level. There is an excellent panoramic view of the city from the top. The Temple Expiatori or Church of Atonement, the Amusement Park and the communications tower, 268 metres high, are silhouetted against the skyline.

La Seu

Fundació Joan Miró
An impressive white structure, opened in 1975, and set in the gardens overlooking the city. The friend of this great Catalan artist , the architect Josep-Luís Sert, designed the beautiful building that now houses the museum, a permanent collection donated by Miró himself and covering the period from 1914-1978.

Prestige Paseo de Gracia Hotel is located on the 62 of the boulevard of the same name, in the very heart of the city. This makes it very easy to get to the hotel, and it provides an unbeaten starting point for your trips in or around the city.
Getting in from the airport:

by train
There is a RENFE train going from the airport to Plaza Cataluña, only 5 blocks away from the hotel.

Paseo de Gracia RENFE (train) station is less than 100 m. away from Prestige Pº de Gracia (note that it has no direct connection with Plaza Cataluña station), and it is your station of choice for the train traffic connecting Barcelona with the villages in Costa Dorada and the Catalan inland.

by bus
Every 15 min., there is one Aerobus leaving the airport, heading for Plaza Cataluña, only 5 blocks away from the hotel.

Metropolitan buses 7, 16, 17, 20, 22, 24, 28, 43, 44, as well as the Tomb Bus and the Touristic Bus stop or pass by the Prestige Pº de Gracia.

by car
For those traveling by car, they can park in Parking Saba at Paseo de Gracia, where they will get a special treatment as customers with Prestige.

metro/underground
The train station opposite the hotel also holds the Paseo de Gracia station of line 3 for the metro/underground, which connects with lines 2 and 4.
