A most interesting hotel located in the Lido of Venice

Between the sea and the lagoon of Venice lies the beautiful island of the Lido, not quite part of central Venice but close enough and easy to get to with the boat taxis and beaches. It is in this location that the Hungaria Palace Hotel can be found, an early 20th century art nouveau building with an impressive façade - loud and extrovert - covered as it is with polychromatic majolica tiles and frescoes. The Hungaria Palace is not a small hotel, having some 80 rooms that spread over four floors, three of which are decorated in a traditional manner and one in a more modern style. By the way, the fourth floor provides great views of the Venice Lagoon and Lido. Whatever the floors, however, all rooms are spacious and discreet, certainly in comparison with the façade. Indeed, it fits in well with the name of the hotel and that of the Austro-Hungarian epoch. Being 150 metres from the waterbus terminal, 200 metres from the beach, an abundance of shops, restaurants makes the Hungaria Palace hotel a more than interesting option for those looking to stay away from the madcap centre of Venice.

From Airport Marco Polo:
We suggest the public boat directly to the Lido (55 minutes by boat of Alilaguna Company), or a private taxi-boat.

From Railway Station Santa Lucia:
The steaming boat (line 1) will transfer you to the Lido after an astonishing route through the "Canal Grande", otherwise you can take line 51 through the Giudecca canal.

From Venice-Tronchetto by car:
You can easily reach the hotel by car with only 25 minutes trip by ferry-boat from Tronchetto Terminal, through the Giudecca Canal: a very amazing route and an exciting impact for those arriving in Venice for the first time.
