You can tell the Hostal las Acacias is a special little place when guests mention that other small hotels should follow its standards. By that we mean a place that has style, a friendly yet discreet ambience and is in pristine shape. Oh, and it helps to be well located in El Nogal at the foot of the Mediterranean, some 2 ½ kilometres from Malaga city centre. It is an area where sunsets always seem that little bit redder and higher, whatever the season.

Despite the extensive restorations the las Acacias has undergone, the early 20th century building has always managed to keep its soul and retain many of the original elements. For example, the high ceilings, inner courtyard garden and a number of mosaics, yet the future is also very much alive in the bold colours of the rooms (each one is bright, but different) and simple but effective décor. Don’t expect top notch luxury in terms of furnishings but do expect excellent value for money at the price.

The las Acacias has also become somewhat renowned for its cuisine. Using dishes based on seasonal and fresh products, the in-house restaurant provides tasteful Mediterranean fare all year round and should be tried at least once especially , if possible in the courtyard to provide that extra romantic feel (weather permitting which is more often the case than not).

In short, excellent value for money, well located, and nearby to many restaurants and things to do. As a guest once said upon leaving “I could easily spend a couple of weeks here” Who are we to disagree?

ll	Tips & Getting There

Las Acacias is located to the east of Malaga, some 2.5 km from the city centre and about 15 km from the airport. The area is called El Nogal.

The approximate price of taxis is as follows:
-- From the airport around € 18-20.
-- From the centre around € 6-8.

BY CAR

1) - Take the Malaga ring road (in the direction Motril of if coming from the west. Eg: Torremolinos or Granada).

Leave on exit 247, "THE PALO".

- Continue on the highway to the sea, crossing a bridge (Arroyo Jaboneros) to the right and turn left.

- At the traffic light, turn right and go into a street called Av. JUAN SEBASTIAN ELCANO.

- Once on the street, take the third street on the left – PASEO DE LAS ACACIAS - where the hotel is located. On the same street you can park your car.
