| Originally an old mill dating back to the 16th century, this traditional rural development is located in a really undiscovered part of Spain as well as a region of ecological importance. In fact, La Sierra Norte Natural Park, where Navezuelas is situated, is a protected area where the natural order has always been for the environment to dominate man, rather the other way round. This “cortijo” is surrounded by beautiful hills covered by olive and cork trees, with pigs, goats and deer being able to roam freely. Its quiet isolation is perfect for those seeking peace, harmony, and exuberant sunsets. The beautiful swimming pool is also worthy of note. The interior is also attractive - simple, straightforward and dominated by warm colours adding to the sense of quietude, with the ceilings made up of wooden beams adding a further nice touch. Anyone looking to venture out a little further is recommended to visit the pretty town of Cazalla de la Sierra. |

The Sierra Norte Natural Park occupies a total area of 164.840 hectares and covers the section of the Sierra Morena Mountain range within the province of Seville between the boundaries Badajoz, Huelva and Cordoba. This area has the highest rainfall of the province, which allows the growth of bosques de galería with species of flora and fauna of vital importance. The area was already inhabited in the time of the Iberians and its mining tradition began with the Romans.
