The Sierra Norte Natural Park occupies a total area of 164.840 hectares and covers the section of the Sierra Morena Mountain range within the province of Seville between the boundaries Badajoz, Huelva and Cordoba. This area has the highest rainfall of the province, which allows the growth of bosques de galería with species of flora and fauna of vital importance. The area was already inhabited in the time of the Iberians and its mining tradition began with the Romans.

Parish Nuestra Señora de la Consolación, 14th century.
Gothic-mudejar style. Built against the old almohad ramparts, it is a combination of different architectural styles. On the outside note should be taken of the mudejar tower.

Church of San Benito.
Gothic-mudejar style. The main façade is Renaissance style.

Convent of the Madre de Dios, 16th century.
Cloister has mudejar and Renaissance elements.

Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Monte, 18th century.
Built on a former one dating from the late Middle Ages.

Monastery of the Cartuja de la Inmaculada Concepción, 15th century.
Built on the ruins of a hunting pavilion belonging to Peter I the Cruel.

Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
It was built on a former mudejar one. It was remodeled during the baroque period.

Convent of San Francisco.
Baroque style. Note should be taken of the cloister.

Convent of San Agustín, 18th century.
Baroque style. There is an interesting two-story cloister.

Church of the convent of Santa Clara.
