A 15th century country house located in the Baix Empordá, near both the beautiful Costa Brava beaches and some of the best Golf courses in Europe. There are also a number of interesting medieval villages nearby. Mas Crisaran belonged to a Swiss painter and, indeed, part of his work is still exhibited there.

The two current owners, Cristina and Arantxa, have further decorated the house with objects from Asia and Africa: teak tabouretes from Asia, Massai shields, masks, Indian furniture and Chinese lamps, a legacy of their travels throughout these two continents. Accordingly, the eight spacious double rooms and suite combine an interesting “colonial” mix. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool under a terrace, an attractive green lawn to wander in as well as a restaurant serving excellent food.

From Barcelona: Take the A7 motorway in direction of GERONA/FRANCIA. Turn off at EXIT 6 and go in direction of PALAMÓS through the secondary C-66 road. After 18 km turn left in direction of TORROELLA DE MONTGRI/L’ESTARTIT/PALS. Pass through the villages of RUPÍA and then PARLAVÁ. After passing Parlavá you will see a sign indicating FONOLERRES/HOTEL MAS CRISARAN and you have arrived
