You can find Masseria Cimino right inside a farm that dates back to the 17th century and is surrounded by the excellent golf course of San Domenico (7,000 yards, par 72) for which it doubles as the club house.

Fifteen rooms furnished in Mediterranean style distributed between the white main building and an adjacent red tower that is visible from most holes. All with air conditioning, minibar, safe, flat screen TV and marble bathrooms, and some with a fireplace and a little terrace that looks over the course and has superb views.

Outside, besides a welcoming swimming pool that acts like a balsam on hot days, we have the ancient ruins of Egnatia (6th century BC) that have been recently discovered and excavated. In fact, the archaic walls of Egnatia these days bound the property. And let’s not forget the Adriatic sea that is right around the corner.

Cimino is by the fisherman’s village of Savelletri di Fasano in the Puglia coast, surrounded by tourist attractions such as Fasano, Cisternino and Alberobello – this last one famous for its “trulli”, a traditional Apulian stone dwelling with a conical roof built without any cement or mortar. A bit further away we have Manfredonia y Ostuni that are also worth a visit. Sea and golf – what more can you ask? (as golfers would say).

San Domenico Golf - 18 holes
The “San Domenico Golf” course lies near the small fisherman village of Savelletri, with its southern boundary as close to the sea as the road and rocky coastline will allow. To the north are the olive groves and agricultural fields the site was once part of. The formerly flat and featureless land is now a challenging 18 hole golf course which offers an unforgettable experience for visitors and superb view of the Adriatic Sea from every tee, green and fairway.

From the Bari-Brindisi motorway , take the SAVALLETRI exit . Head toward Savelletri, after 2 km you will find on your left the signs San Domenico Golf and Masseria Cimino.

By Train:
The nearest railway station is at Fasano, about 5 Km away from the Masseria on the route Lecce-Bari-Roma-Bologna.

Airports:
Bari (tel. 080.5835204) distances 55 Km, about 35 minutes by car.
Brindisi (tel. 0831.411711) distances 50 Km, about 30 minutes by car.
