Following the conquest of the city in 1485, the king ordered the building of the church which was elevated to the status of cathefral. In 1851, however, it was reduced to the status of a parish church.
Espiritu Santo chucrh - 15th century

Please feel free to send us your personal hotel review on this hotel. You may wonder why all the assessments we have on line are positive. Well, apart from the simple fact that we try to include only what we consider to be the best accommodations, there’s another important reason to bear in mind. Any hotel that receives 3 negative feedbacks is automatically taken out of our selection.
“Without doubt, the best rural hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And I’m an inveterate traveler. 5 star service right in the middle of a paradisiacal natural park. The hospitality is wonderful, cleanliness top notch, the gardens a real dream, the 3 star Michelin cuisine and rooms unforgettable. The wonderful scent of plants and trees imbues everything. The swimming pools is splendid and the scenes by the millstream a delicious pleasure. The silence and tranquility sublime. I’ll be back every year notwithstanding the fact that I like to get to know new places. Recommend it 100%” M, Spain
"One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The setting is delightful, with superb gardens full of flowers, lovely terrace alongside the river and beautiful swimming pool and lounging area. The bedrooms are top class, with terraces to site outside and enjoy the views. Food is marvellous, breakfast with freshly sqeezed orange juice and lots more, lunch if you can manage it or just a snack, afternoon tea with homemade cakes and then dinner which is definitely fine dining - what more could you ask for. The staff are friendly, not intrusive but always ready to help. There is a comfortable lounge to relax in if the weather is unkind, with plenty of games, jigsaws and an excellent library of books in many languages, We will keep returning to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere."
