You don’t just get a place to stay but and a statement of style and design, where peace and Zen like tranquility meets the most modern technology and comforts. Indeed, design is of the utmost importance here, but unlike many other places it is put to excellent use rather than an end in itself. That’s great news for guests who benefit from the comfort of a home from home where one can live, eat, relax, sleep and entertain with complete freedom – right in the heart of London. And we mean heart, for the No 5 Maddox is situated in a peaceful hideaway just off Regent Street, five minutes from the emblematic Soho and the august Mayfair, in basically what has recently been called “Europe’s shopping Mecca”. Yet if the temptation to indulge gets a little too strong you can simply relax inside. Each suite is an inner city sanctuary, featuring a relaxing organic colour palette, bamboo flooring and an understated blending of tactile natural materials, whilst photographs cataloguing the social history and rock 'n' roll culture of Soho in the 50s and 60's are featured throughout the building. We simply loved the philosophy behind the No 5 concept. Space, thoughtful service, good design and all the comforts of a home for the price of a luxury hotel bedroom.
