When coming from PORTO or LISBON via the A1 motorway, turn off into the A7 motorway in direction of GUIMARÃES. Upon entering Guimarães turn right in direction “SANTO TIRSO”, 350 metres further on turn first left where it says “DESVIO URGESES” (a detour). 300 metres later, upon coming to the “HOTEL DO GUIMARÃES” (200 metres from the train station) turn again where it says “DESVIO URGESES”. 2 km later, upon arriving at the next roundabout, follow the sign saying “PAÇO S. CIPRIANO”. Some 3 km later in TABUADELO, on the right, again follow the sign for the Paço S. Cipriano and you will arrive there.
