Well thought out apartments near the Ericeira coast, north west of Lisbon
The recently built Quinta dos Raposeiros was thoughtfully constructed in such a way as to take full advantage of its impressive natural attributes. And what are these?
First of all, the Quinta is located within 17 acres of pine trees, orchards palm trees and woodlands. Secondly this very area is itself ensconced in the luxuriant valley of São Lourenço, near the fishing town of Ericeira, and from which guests will be treated to great views of the coast.
Accordingly, all four independent apartments are laid out and built in such a way that look outward towards those wonderful panoramic views. The large windows, panning onto the landscape, provide the notion of nature in glorious Technicolor, whilst the apartments themselves, though decorated with simple summery pieces, are more than comfortable and cater perfectly for those looking for an informal accommodation near the sea.
Any stay here is thus a relaxing experience, with the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and barbeque all adding up to the laid back holiday feel. Indeed, everything is conducive to a peaceful stay, yet the Quinta dos Raposeiros has another important trick up its sleeve. This being the close proximity to some of the country’s most historic cities – not least Lisbon, Sintra and Mafra are all of which are a stone’s throw away from the Quinta dos Raposeiros, though a car to get to them would be most advisable.

| From Lisbon take highway A8 in direction of Torres Vedras and exit Mafra/Malveira. Head for Ericeira. After having passed Ericeira continue in direction of Ribamar. In the centre of this village you will see a sign for MARVAO/LAGOA; follow the sign and pass three windmills before you turn left into CAMINHO DOS RAPOSEIROS. At the bifurcation head left and follow the road for approx. 1 km. You will find the entrance gate of Quinta dos Raposeiros on your left hand side. |

"We just spent a week at Quinta Raposeiros with our two little children (aged 8 months and 2 years) and absolutely loved it! We can highly recommend it to families with children (and undoubtedly also to those without...). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the apartments spotless and very comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our luxurious breakfasts, and the fact that the place was so child-friendly, with a swimming-pool, a little Wendy-house and hammocks in the garden, and comfortable cots, high chairs and a baby bath. The apartments are nicely located, and the view from the balcony of the sea is wonderful. From the apartments it takes a 20 minute walk on small footpaths to a lovely beach with a nice restaurant.
