Being owned by the same people who run the Residenzia Johanna I & II means you should expect certain common denominators at the two Johlea Residences - namely value for money, beautifully decorated accommodations right in the centre of Florence and run by extremely friendly staff. That’s exactly what you get at the Johlea residences. These two carefully renovated palaces have been delightfully restored and furnished with antique pieces and bedrooms (6 in one 8 in the other) all individually decorated with Tuscan upholstery. 19th century class also meets 21st century sensibilities with air conditioning, Internet connections and all modern comforts included.

ll	Tips & Getting There

Florence city centre is a traffic restricted area (ZTL), the entrance is controlled 24H/254H by cameras. Guests are allowed to enter the ZTL only at their ARRIVAL and at the DEPARTURE. No other entrance is allowed. To avoid fees guests are requested to inform arrival and car-plate and the time of the day in which you entered into the city centre. The same procedure at your departure.

Arriving by car from Rome:
Take the FIRENZE SUD exit off the A1 highway. Go towards PIAZZA LIBERTA

Arriving by car from Milan:
Take the FIRENZE NORD exit off the A1 highway. Go towards FORTEZZA DA BASSO and then go towards PIAZZA LIBERTA.

From Piazza Libertà (NOTE: because of the one-way streets, directions must be followed precisely):

Enter the Centro (limited traffic area) taking VIA CAVOUR
If present tell the police officers you are going to Residenza Johlea/Johanna
Reach Piazza San Marco
At the traffic light, turn right onto Via degli Arazzieri
Take the first right (Via San Gallo)
Beside Palazzo Pandolfini, at no. 72 is Antica Dimora Firenze, at no. 76 is Johlea II, at no. 80 is the Johlea I.
