Sant Joan de Binissaida is a charming rural hotel that opened its doors to the public in 2004, located in an 18th century manor house on the east side of Minorca, very close to the port of Mahón. 11 rooms, an haute cuisine restaurant, 12 hectares of green space, a large open-air swimming pool, play area and two fireplace salons make it a great place to days in silence and nature. Don’t forget, after all, that the charming island of Minorca has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

The hotel itself is divided into two areas: the main house and the old stable barn. The former has six rooms, houses the restaurant and the two fireplace salons. The latter contains the additional double rooms.

Guests can enjoy fine walks around the surrounding area or along the “Camí de Cavalls” (horses’ pathway) that follows the coast or the various hiking trails, not to mention the cycling trails.

Sant Joan de Binissaida is an ideal destination for lovers of rural tourism, tranquillity and good cooking, who identify with sustainable tourism and are looking for approachable and professional treatment. The hotel is also ideal for travelling couples and those with children.

The Sant Joan de Binissaida is located on the eastern side of Minorca, specifically in the Binissaida area between the villages of Es Castell and Sant Luis, close by to the island's capital, Mahón in the middle of the countryside and a short way from the sea.
Sant Joan de Binissaida is located:

10 minutes from the centre of Mahón
15 mins from the airport
10 mins from the sea
20 mins from the Son Parc golf course.

From Minorca airport
Take the road towards Mahón. On the bypass continue in the direction of ES CASTELL. Do not stop in that town, but keep going in direction of SANT LUÍS. The crossroads providing access to the estate is at kilometre 2.8 of the ES CASTELL-SANT LLUiS road, where you will see two yellow signs indicating "AGROTURISMO" and "RESTAURANTE". Take the local road indicated with the name "BINISSAIDA" and precisely one kilometre later the entrance to SAN JOAN de BINISSAIDA will appear on the left. Next to the esatet's name is the number 108.

From the port of Mahón:
If you arrive in Mahón by ship, take the Muelle de Levante around the port in the direction of the village of Es Castell. Do not stop in that town, but keep going in the direction of Sant Lluís. The crossroads providing access to the estate is at kilometre 2.8 of the Es Castell-Sant Lluís road, where you will see two yellow signs indicating “Agroturismo” and “Restaurante”. Take the local road indicated with the name “Binissaida” and precisely one kilometre later the entrance to San Joan de Binissaida will appear on the left. Next to the estate’s name is the number 108.
