A true quality hotel in a prime location of Rome

This is a special hotel, no doubt about that, and the perfect place if you’re looking a really stylish Roman accommodation with accompanying quality service and location. The price too, though certainly not budget class, is pretty good value when compared to some more expensive options in the eternal city. It is easily their equivalent. So it should come as no surprise, therefore, that many clients who regularly go to Rome (either on business or for pleasure – both options are catered for equally well) end up always staying at the Baileys Hotel and ringing its praises. “I stay no where else in Rome” is a common refrain. But what should one expect from an elegant 19th century “palazzo” located in the historic centre of Rome (the Via Veneto and Spanish steps are but a short walk away) that has been superbly converted into a luxurious hotel, with personal little touches abounding throughout. Rooms, though not overly large are lavish by any standards and include private marble bathrooms and a seasonal fruit basket upon arrival to welcome you. Even this small gesture is prepared with quality and style, yet what really makes the hotel a delight is the quality and friendliness of the service. Despite the highfalutin pedigree, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed and the hotel does everything it can to keep it this way. Should, you wish just ask any of the staff and they will provide suggestions of where to go, eat or do. Yet with many little corners available where you can enjoy a newspaper, book, or simply relax, that’s fine too. We strongly suspect you will want to come back.

Located in the historical centre Rome the Baileys Hotel Rome enjoys a super location for quick and easy access to most of Rome’s modern and historic treasures. Indeed, the Bailey’s is within easy walking distance to most of Rome’s main attractions including the Colosseum , Trevi Fountain , Pantheon , Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. Perhaps the most famous nearby attraction is the Via Veneto which was made famous by Federico Fellini’s oscar winning film La Dolce Vita or “Sweet Life” . Today the Via Veneto is home to 5 star Hotels, Expensive bars, the American Embassy and Hard Rock Cafe... Via Veneto is also a good starting point for a Shopping Excursion – take plenty of cash as shops to be found in the plush environs of the Via Veneto include the notoriously expensive designer stores in Via dei Condotti and the Via del Corso.

ll	Tips & Getting There

By Car:
The Bailey's can arrange private parking in a nearby garage. Please let u know if you will be arriving by car so parking may be arranged. A small supplement will be applicable for this service.

To get to the Bailey’s Hotel in Rome by car you need to get on to Rome’s ring road the GRA or Grande Raccordo Anulare (direction Firenze – Nomentana) take the exit 11 “Nomentana” direzione centro and keep going straight on for about 30 minutes and you will get to Piazzale Porta Pia. Straight on Via XX settembre and proceed to the second set of traffic lights, turn right at these traffic lights and take the first right. This is Via Flavia, proceed for 200 metres and the Hotel Baileys is on your right.

By Train
Rome's main train station Termini is only 400 metres from the Hotel Baileys. All of Italy’s Intercity and Eurostar trains arrive at Termini which means the Bailey’s Hotel the perfect choice for those guests arriving in Rome by rail and who wish to stay in the Historical Center of Rome. You can either take the Metro one stop to Repubblica and from there walk to the Hotel Baileys or you can just walk the 400 metres in the following manner. Take the lateral exit on the right and you will be on Via Marsala go left and you will get to some traffic lights. Cross the road and keep going straight on (Via Marsala now becomes Via Volturno) keep going straight on until you get to Via 20 Settembre also written Via XX Settembre. Via Flavia is the parallel street behind Via 20 Settembre.
