"We were for 2 days on our journey through the wonderful port wine growing area in the Douro Valley. We can only confirm the very authentic and comfortable facilities of the Hotel, as mentioned in yours, as well as other press statements. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and professional.
Eventually you will meet small groups of travelers enjoying seminars on port wine in the in-house cellar. At the reception of the Hotel you can buy tickets (about 17 Euros) for a boat trip on the Douro, which lasts about 2 hours. Also at the train station Pinhao you can start your impressing journey along the Douro coastline.
