In La Tierra Roja they know perfectly the ingredients necessary to achieve an unforgettable stay: a magical place, a really beautiful environment and lots and lots of hospitality. And they certainly stick to their philosophy in this small hotel in Aliseda, a charming little town half an hour from Cáceres.

The hotel has six rooms, all of them a careful balance of decoration with minimalism. All are garnished with elegant antiques and contemporary art works, although each maintains its personal style: art deco, slightly baroque, 1950’s furniture… And this results in unique experiences.

The main thing here is the way the staff deals with their clients, in a personal and caring manner. If you are looking for an impersonal hotel, as there are other thousands, you won’t find it in La Tierra Roja. The helpful staff will be looking forward to aid you in everything you may need to enjoy your holiday.

Besides, the town is located in the Sierra de San Pedro, an area belonging to the Dehesa de Extremadura, perfect for practicing sports whilst being surrounded by nature. And of course visiting Cáceres is almost mandatory, with its Historic Centre, Heritage of Humanity. Certainly, La Tierra Roja is the perfect choice to stay and get to know this charming Spanish spot.

Pictures and reviews would take anyone who seeks to relax at a special place to save the site on your top list for next trip. But my friends and I have moved it to the MUST go places. From.the time you enter the house you wish you had booked more days to enjoy the exquisit decoration, garden, sweaming pool, breakfast and when you meet your hosts you leave planning to come back! Thanks
Nice, quiet boutique hotel

This small boutique hotel is furnished nicely and is a nice place to relax being very quiet even though it is in the centre of the village. Having evening meals is a good option given that places nearby to eat are limited. It is outside Caceres but it is a very good option if you do not want to stay in the city, being only a 15-20 minute drive away. Good value for money.

The hotel, our room and the location were excellent. The owner was not there during our stay though and I believe that this may have affected the experience. The included breakfast was not anything special and actually pretty meager. It was early in the season and we didn't expect the pool to be operating; no problem at all with that. What was disappointing though was that the pool has not been maintained and is pretty much a green pond now. Maybe this will be fixed but it's pretty unwelcoming.
Hidden gem in rural Spain

When you first arrive at the white centuries old front door you could be forgiven for wondering what lies behind them. Marie greets you with a huge friendly smile and proudly shows you her hotel. Our room was huge with a large sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. The communal sitting room was also available as was the outside area and pool. Marie listens to the best jazz/flamenco music that justs makes you feel welcome. The home cooked breakfast with the bread, jams and cakes was awesome. This place is a gem in rural Spain. Would definitely stay here again. Marie and her staff should be very proud.
