Max Brown Hotel Amsterdam

The Max Brown Hotel is a simple one, yet not easy to pull off. The place has to be cool, taking in modern design, simple rooms and affordable rates – and be located in one of the best parts of the city!
The Max Brown Hotel Amsterdam meets all three criteria and passes with flying colours. The façade of the building may be over 300 years old but design inside is utterly contemporary and relaxing throughout the 3 floors. It comes with a really cool LEDS light system, whereby you can change the illumination of the room according your mood – sensual red or perhaps a peaceful blue, for example. Also given the singular architecture of the building, every room has its own special character and format – no two are alike.
There is also a “Be Yourself” area in the public area where you can just hang out, enjoy a coffee and surf the Net for free (WIFI). As for the location, you can’t get much better than the Jordaan and the Herengracht canal, which is bursting with cafes, bars and restaurants, apart from being a beautiful area in itself. The main drawback, for want of a better word, is the fact that Max Brown is in effect currently two buildings next to each other. We strongly suggest staying in the more modern one where most of the above facilities are found.
Price wise, it is also very attractive, especially considering this is Amsterdam, so for a pretty affordable rate you get all of the above as well as spacious rooms, many of which come with a small balcony plus smart clean bathrooms. In short, the budget conscious amongst us who nevertheless demand style with a modern twist, will find the Max Brown Hotel Amsterdam an excellent proposition.
