Quinta dos Carvalhos

Quinta dos Carvalhos is a beautiful Portuguese ‘Quinta’ (Farm) situated amongst 70 hectares, and located 1.5km from Castelo Branco in central Portugal. This property is still a working farm and guests can experience and see the real working life of this Quinta.

There is a selection of spacious rooms, each one unique and thematic. Guests have an option to choose between double beds or twin beds. Each room has a private bathroom and offers panoramic views overlooking the extensive grounds. Quinta dos Carvalhos has a stunning outdoor swimming pool which is the ideal place to escape the Alentejo heat. 

The staff at Quinta dos Carvalhos are able to assist with a range of services including: help with booking restaurant reservations, organized horse rides (upon request at extra cost) and organized boat trips on the Tagus River. 

With the Tagus National Park right on the doorstep, guests will be able to enjoy endless walking and hiking options and appreciate the local flora and fauna. The location is perfect with plenty of cultural sights and activities in the surrounding area. Day trip options include a visit option to the Medieval town of Marvão with its beautiful hill-top castle.
