BomBom

The BomBom country home is located in the hills above the town of Melides, in the village Sobreiras Altas, an area surrounded by beautiful cork oaks. BomBom was lovingly restored in 2020 maintaining the original architecture, with the charm and authenticity of a "Monte Alentejano".
This charming white-walled house with a blue trim is accessed through a small gate. It features a terrace with a pergola, protected by a large vine, and in the middle an idyllic dining table.
The traditionally decorated house with personal touches accommodates a maximum of 6 people, in three bedrooms: two doubles and one with a trundle bed for two people, each with its own bathroom. The indoor design combines tradition with vintage and is filled with details. The living room with its original “Alentejano” fireplace leads to an open, fully equipped kitchen with large windows overlooking the garden. The garden has several orange trees, a lemon tree and is dotted with lavenders and rosemary. There is also a swimming pool to cool off and a terra cotta terrace with deck chairs.
There is another flat-roofed building, which can be climbed by a wooden ladder and at night you can see the wonderful sky, dotted with stars
If you decide not to spend the day by the pool or in the garden, the closest beach is 12 minutes away. The magnificent coast of Comporta has 60km of nearly untouched beaches, that can be explored. There is a good local restaurant called Taberna das Sobreiras Altas in walking distance. The towns of Melides and Carvalhal are a 15-minute drive away.
There is internet WIFI in the living room and in two of the rooms with mobile internet connection speed
Small detail: the house does not allow children who cannot swim.
