The elevated location of 1320 m is ideal to escape the summer sultriness in the hot months or to enjoy plenty of snow in winter. The digital unreachability makes the relaxing stay complete. Many guests are delighted to get along without mobile phone reception on holiday. For all others, the holiday home also has Wi-Fi.
This Italian holiday home has three bedrooms, each with two connected single beds on the ground floor and two separate single beds upstairs. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other one with a bathtub. The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to spoil yourself and your loved ones with culinary delights. The living room and the bright living room are generously designed and invite you to unwind. Outside, you will find a freshly renovated terrace.
The surrounding area offers interesting destinations for easy hikes, but adventurous hikers will enjoy their time likewise. However, you should have a lot of confidence in hiking maps and guidebooks due to the low network coverage in the area. A special tip is the internationally known long-distance hiking trail E5, which stretches between Brittany and Venice and runs directly above the house.
The background history and construction of the beautiful Landhaus Leonhard is also interesting. It is a 17th-century chapel building dedicated to St. Leonhard, patron saint of cattle, farmers and carters, and is a listed and protected building. The present house was designed in 1980 and built in the following years. The basic idea was to continue the chapel axis through the hallway. The individual rooms are strung along with this, similar to the cells of a monastery.
At the farmer next door you can buy various foodstuffs depending on the season: Milk, eggs, game, turkey, trout, honey, potatoes, etc. - Just go there and ask. In winter, the cooker in the kitchen and the large oven in the living room make the house cosy and warm. The individual rooms are supplied by central heating. The use of the stoves will be explained to you on arrival. There is enough firewood and it is included in the price. The country house has parking spaces and also a cellar for your bicycles.
