Lose yourself in the authentic Italian countryside at Stazzo Chivoni, a rustic cottage dating back to the beginning of the 19th century.Built in 1850, modernised in 2003, the plain granite 'stazzu gallurese' still keeps its reed-woven ceiling, its corner fireplace, its little windows. Sheltered from the wind, the Stazzo enjoys the best of Italian weather - warm summers and mild winters. The granite walls mean that the Stazzo stays cool even in the height of summer. So with its rustic bohemian decor, vine branches, sea shells, relaxing colours and polished cement floor, Stazzo Chivoni makes for an incredibly comfortable stay.

Your lavish breakfast will include: yoghurts, fruit juices, fresh milk, tea or coffee, cereals, jams, freshly baked bread and home-baked cakes. The eggs at breakfast are actually collected from the neighbouring hens, so you know they're free range and organic, as are the vegetables and fruits grown in the Stazzo's own gardens.

The house is surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden: olive trees, arbutus, myrtle, and rosemary.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy during the day and Stazzo Chivoni is in the ideal location to reach all of them. There are the large beaches of the west coast, fashionable beaches of Costa Smeralda, and beaches ideal for water sports and diving, such as Porto Pollo, Palau, and Capo Testa. The clear, Mediterranean sea is perfect for snorkeling, diving, and sailing. If you'd rather stick to the land, then there is a huge variety of different landscapes for you to explore. Go by car, bike, or foot to the country churches, cork woods and archeological sites of Luogosanto, the monolith of Mount Pulchiana, the boulder strewn landscape of Valle della Luna, or the pine woods of Maount Limbara. During the Easter and Summer, taking part in a country feast is an absolute 'must do'. Here you'll be able to experience typical shepherds' food, live music and local dances.

If you prefer a self-catering accommodation check Stazzio Marzia, which is located on the same property as Stazzo Chivoni Bed and Breakfast.

Wonderful house in quiet location
Date of stay 12/09/2020
We loved our stay at Stazzo Chivoni in Luogosanto. It’s a wonderful apartment in a beautiful historic house. The apartment is at the end of a village and very quiet, a car is necessary to come there. The lovely Owner Marzia lives right next door. Her breakfast that will be served in the amazing garden is delicious and she will have a special dish for every day. She also gives you helpful advices for trips or restaurants in the surrounding. If you like to have an shabby chic accommodation in a quiet place with a lovely owner, this is your place.
