Kasbah Bab Ourika

Surrounded by olive trees and set amongst the Atlas Mountains, you will find Kasbah Bab Ourika, a wonderful and authentic place to stay, a true piece of nature in Morocco. The Kasbah is set on a hilltop with 360° breathtaking views over the Ourika Valley and the snow-capped peaks.

There are 43 rooms in total, in the main building and scattered around the gardens. Each one individually designed in an eclectic mix of Berber style, mid-century pieces, vintage furniture, personal art collections, and traditional Berber rugs. Every room is unique. Most include a private terrace, small garden or balcony offering expansive mountain or valley views. Among them, you’ll find a 5-bedroom villa with panoramic views, as well as 3 suites with private pools overlooking the Atlas Mountains, and a Retreat House with 11 rooms that is ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, or group events - though it can also be booked room-by-room.

Outside the rooms, you will discover peaceful gardens and a pool, open terraces, private lunch spots and quiet corners to relax and take in the landscape. The Kasbah also features a spa, offering massages and treatments with natural local products, as well as a biological garden that provides fresh produce for the kitchen.

Meals can be enjoyed in the different terraces with wonderful views and restaurant, where seasonal and locally grown ingredients are prepared with care. The warm welcome you will feel here is real as over 90% of the 85 staff members are from the surrounding villages, contributing to the uplift and support of the local community.
