Situated in the heart of Piola – perhaps Milan’s most authentic quarter – this wonderful and very different Bed and Breakfast is a fun and beautiful place. Lots of style and a great sense of humour means Vietnamonamour is the perfect way to counteract the dryness of a business trip or indeed relax after some serious shopping in the capital of design. In fact, we would go so far as to say that if you are looking for fairly central accommodation in Milan but don’t want to pay a fortune and you like character and tons of personality, you couldn’t really get much better.

The Metro station, Piola, is just 200 metres from Vietnamonamour – with three Metro stops to the central station, you can be in Piazza Duomo in less than 10 minutes but sleep in one of the quieter residential neighbourhoods – hardly high-rise, these are more the elegant ville d’epoca and a welcome retreat in the buzzing city. Free broadband internet, air con, of course, and all the other little details you may want, this is a Bed and Breakfast that breaks the norm; its French/Vietnamese and Italian owners really know how to combine style with comfort.

The decor is definitely oriental in theme but really quite beautifully done – big bedrooms, sensual colours together with handmade furniture and ornaments make for very relaxing spaces. A cute little breakfast room gives way in the summer to the courtyard out back, a lovely refreshing terrace surrounded by green and oriental parasols.

Extremely original, just out of the centre in an authentic and rather beautiful neighbourhood in order to keep the peace, excellent access to downtown and the main railway station (for links to the airports), Vietnamonamour is one of a kind in combining style and comfort.

Diesem kleinen Hotel möchten wir gerne ein besonders nettes Feedback geben. Christiane hat das Haus mit sehr viel Geschmack gestaltet. Ob es sich um das wunderschön gestaltete Restaurant, das kleine Treppenhaus oder die Zimmer handelt, alles wurde mit tollen Farben, asiatischen Möbeln und viel Liebe gestaltet. Die Mauer des Wintergartens ist noch in Arbeit und wird noch mit Malereien der Künstlerin verziert. Man fühlt sich hineinversetzt in eine asiatische Welt, ein Traum zum Aussteigen aus dem Alltag und Eintauchen in den Urlaub. Auch das Restaurant wird jeden Liebhaber asiatischer Küche erfreuen. Wir haben uns fest vorgenommen, einmal mehrere Tage in Mailand zu investieren und freuen uns, wieder im Vietnamonamour absteigen zu können.
