OXFORD - WHAT TO SEE AND DO

There's a whole plethora of things to do in and around Oxford. The University of Oxford is dispersed through the city, with highlights including Trinity College, the Radcliffe Camera containing the world famous Bodleian library, and the Bridge of Sighs. Visit the Harry Potter filming scenes and feel as if you're strolling through Hogwarts. The Ashmolean Museum has also opened its secret archives of historical mysteries to the public. Apart from the university, there are options to visit the Oxford Botanic Gardens, William Morris' original workshop, and the original Alice in Wonderland shop. Outside of Oxford you can find the stunning Cotswold villages and London is only an hour away by train.

OXFORD - GASTRONOMY

Oxford is home to a collection of independent sweetie shops and cafes. East Oxford has the largest collection of indie eateries, however the centre also has its secrets. Directly opposite Lincoln and Exeter Colleges, you can find the Missing Bean cafe, where you can buy an authentic Italian hot chocolate. If sweeties are what you're after then G&D's has all of your ice cream needs covered whereas The Fudge Kitchen is an experience in itself. If you want to see British fudge being made right in front of you (whilst being offered unlimited free samples of the merchandise!) then this is the place for you.
