The Teide National Park includes a 10-mile-wide volcanic crater which dominates the centre of the island. At its heart, the Mount Teide volcano rises to 3,718 m above sea level, making it Spain’s highest peak. A cable car takes visitors 1200 m above the crater floor to mesmerising views over much of the Canarian archipelago.
If you like sports, you can do kite surfing, diving or even take some golf lessons in the green nature.
There's also the opportunity to do daily trips for whale- and dolphin-watching.
During February or March will take place the biggest festival in Tenerife: Carneval!
