The town is located on a hill surrounded by olive groves. The famous lavender fields are also nearby. The Verdon Gorge, also known as the Grand Canyon of Verdon, is definitely worth a visit. Turquoise blue water flows through the 21 km long canyon. There are unique hiking routes around the gorge.

The Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region combines a variety of regional specialities. It is famous for its tender meat and a certain sweetness. However, a strong Mediterranean influence can also be detected in the dishes: Olive oil, the world-famous herbs from Provence or lavender honey are used to refine dishes.
