Mykonos - a friendly island in the Cyclades

Mykonos is one of the Greek Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, known for their fine and sandy beaches, picturesque villages and postcard like landscapes. It is often referred to as the Ibiza of Greece. Mykonos is probably the friendliest of all of them. In summer the island lives from long nights, laid back atmosphere and cosmopolitan aura.
The typical Mediterranean climate covers the rugged cliffs and hilltops with fragrant olive groves and green pastures. The villages are full of white washed houses, small but luminous alleys and little restaurants serving fresh fish and vegetables of incomparable taste.

The white church Panagia Paraportiani is a very special sight.

The most important parts of the island are the countless, fine and sandy beaches, where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the island and the good weather.
