What makes this small, rustic and recently built hotel an attractive proposition? Is it the thoughtful and ample use of natural products such as wood and stone in its construction? The light that seems to shine in from all angles: the coquettish main hall with its large chimney and library, where bookworms can spend a peaceful reading session?

All of these things for sure, but what makes this really appealing is the location. Only 12 kilometres away from beautiful Cuenca, with its famous “hanging houses”, and surrounded by 10 hectares of beautiful woods and a veritable assortment of trees, including pines, cypresses and sequoias. It is an ideal place to lose oneself in at any time of the year. These natural attributes more than make up for any shortcomings, such as the smallish bedrooms and bathrooms, which, by the way, are all named after ecological themes.

Decoration is also of the contemporary type and not really true to the rustic tradition but is of good taste and evenhanded. Notwithstanding all this, what will remain in the memory will be those woods, the views they afford and the hospitality of the most amiable hosts you could wish for.
