Caserío de Mozaga
Hotel Type: Manor House
Environment: Countryside
Number of Rooms: 8
Style: Traditional
This typical Canarian farmhouse was built at the end of the 18th century and is located within the village of Mozaga - the geographical and agricultural heart of Lanzarote.Listed property in San Bartolomé Historic Catologue
It still retains an age-old rural character, as exemplified by its eight double rooms, all of which are decorated with traditional furniture of Lanzarote. Other interesting details include high ceilings with wooden beams and an interior patio that contains certain plants only to be found in Lanzarote. Modern amenities, however, such as WIFI-free- in all the areasatellite TV, are also available so the visitor will not lack in modern comfort.
The whole estate, including the black soil garden with its bright flowers, is imbued with a light and contrast that has made this part of the world famous and attracted many photographers and astronomers. Don’t forget to try the excellent fresh food of Caserío de Mozaga, always produced with the highest quality ingredients and mirroring the fine local gastronomy.
Landmarks in the vicinity include the “Los Verdes” caves and the spectacular lunar like Timanfaya Natural Park. Not to be missed.
