Marie Claire Magazine put it succinctly when it said the Covent Garden Hotel “oozes style”, but given that it was completely refurbished by legendary hoteliers Tim and Kit Kemp, having been run down for any years, that's hardly a surprise. Now that we're at it Travel + Leisure called it on of the 25 hottest places to stay – in the world!

So it must be special. And it is. As the name implies the hotel is located in the heart of the theatre district and is just a short walk to the Royal Opera House, Soho and within easy reach of the city's business centre. It is also surrounded by some of London's best restaurants and bars, vibrant cafes and most exciting theatre, nightlife and shopping.

Its 19th century facade does not really hint at what's inside. The drawing room, for example, is cosily tucked away on the hotel's first floor which is accessed via a stunning stone staircase and provides a private and exclusive area for guests. It is a spacious, wood panelled room with vivid upholstery, a French stone fireplace and quirky furniture. It leads into the more intimate Tiffany's Library with a fireplace and honour bar.

Each room is ideal for guests who wish to entertain in style or simply relax and meet up with friends. All 58 rooms are spacious and individually decorated in a contemporary English style and Asian fabrics. Most have large windows and some have stunning views overlooking the rooftops of London. There are some special rooms including the sumptuous Loft Suite and Terrace Suite as well as the Four Poster Room which features an oversized 10’x10’ bed. Each is equipped with all those little luxuries such as wireless, LCD TV and LCD player.
