This beautiful holiday home is located in the small town of Alcacér do Sal and promises a fantastic holiday for the whole family. Here you can enjoy a peaceful family holiday, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is plenty to discover in the small medieval town of Alcácer do Sal. The town originally developed from historic barrios surrounding a Muslim castle. "Do Sal" means salt in Portuguese and refers to Alcácer's importance in the Iberian salt trade. The beach promenade with its many small cafés and restaurants is a particular highlight of Alcácer.

This beautiful accommodation is very close to the once old fishing villages of Melides (35 min) and Comporta (25 min), which have now developed into charming beach towns. Lisbon is only 45 minutes away by car. The accommodation provides beach towels for trips to the coast. Distance to the beaches of Comporta 15 min, Tróia 15 min, Carvalhal 20 min, to Melides 30 min, to Lisbon 45 min.

The house has a historic façade and thick walls that reflect the tradition of the old townhouses. Inside, the pink-painted walls and old oak floors give this renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse a modern feel. Set over two floors, this beautiful townhouse sleeps 4 people, making it ideal for a family holiday in Portugal. The house has a lovely patio, perfect for a morning coffee before heading to one of the beaches or coastal towns. The historic staircase leads to a spacious loft, on one side of which is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Berkey drinking water filter system and Nespresso coffee machine. An Apple HomePod for music is available for entertainment.

On the other side is a living room with wood-burning stove. The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One with en-suite bathroom, the other with separate bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with electric heaters and walk-in wardrobes. A third room offers space for luggage and additional storage space. The townhouse also has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A Dyson air purifier and heater as well as a dehumidifier ensure the well-being of guests. All windows are fitted with fly screens.

The furnishings of the house are very authentic and create a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The bed linen and towels from Libeco are made of high-quality Belgian linen. Cassina leather, Vipp chairs and accessories, Japanese and Portuguese ceramics mixed with vintage artefacts, David Groppi lamps and original works of art.
