Casa na Areia

Casa Areia is a charming villa in the small, quiet village of Areia near Cascais. It has three bedrooms and an attractive outdoor terrace with swimming pool.

The beautiful Guincho beach in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park is only 1.6 kilometers away from the holiday villa. The surroundings of this protected area are characterised by pine forests, dunes and the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean. The house itself is located in Areia, a village that reflects the authentic Portuguese character with its church, small shops and delicious restaurants.
Despite the growing popularity of Portugal as a holiday destination, the village of Areia has retained its traditional charm and is the ideal place to explore the region: Cascais is 5 km away, Sintra 20 km and Lisbon 25 km. There is also a cycle path connecting the village to the beach and all the way to Cascais. Bicycles can be easily rented in Areia.

The two-storey villa is located right in the centre of the village and can accommodate up to 6 people. The ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen with high-quality kitchen appliances, a living room with a large flat-screen TV and a cosy dining room. There is also a room with two single beds (one pull-out bed).
On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and another twin bedroom as well as two modern bathrooms with shower. It is possible to add cots.
The house has two terraces, one on the first floor, which is ideal for a drink at sunset with views of the Sintra mountains. The second terrace is located on the ground floor and also has a small pool, sofas and an outdoor table under a beautiful pergola.
The furnishings may be minimalist, but they leave nothing to be desired in terms of comfort and quality.

As the house is south-facing, the sun provides the accommodation with plenty of light and warmth. For the adventurous, the villa offers the perfect location to explore the nature park and enjoy a variety of activities such as surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, cycling, horse riding, tennis and golf.

Casa Areia is perfect for relaxing and having fun for a few days without having to rely on a car. You can park it directly at the accommodation and enjoy the marvellous surroundings instead.
