Monte do Cortiço Santana do Campo

Monte do Cortiço Santana do Campo is an excellent place to stay with your friends or family for a calm vacation in nature. 

The house is located in a protected ecological zone and consists of six bedrooms, three bathrooms with a bidet, a kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, an oven, a microwave, utensils and a fridge. The living rooms present an authentic dining area, but dining is also possible on the delightful terrace with a pleasing view into the garden. The living room has a fireplace ensuring a warming, homely atmosphere in the evening hours when needed or presenting a good option for winter months, too. There are also facilities for making tea and coffee. While your visit in the summer months you’ll be kept cool by the air conditioning in the living room and most of the bedrooms. For another refreshment you can enjoy your private pool in the garden. If the weather might not be too inviting you can be entertained by the flat screen television in the living room making an adventure for everyone under one roof. The house is furnished with a classic decoration inserted in a property of cork oak and holm oak with 10ha, so a really generous property with a lot of space for kids to romp around. The architecture itself really is typically Portuguese with a blue colour scheme decoration around the house, authentic beds, some single bed and some double beds, some have a bed frame around them what you might want to keep in mind. All the rooms are decorated in an authentic Portuguese way. 

Some kilometres into the south from the House you will find the city Arraiolos where Portuguese carpets are originally produced, which is a visit worth. 

Nearby, within the distance of 6km, you will find a public garden as well as some bars and cafes. The nearest airport is “Beja airport” in a 76km distance. Since the house is surrounded by green, most activities have to be attended by car but there is a private parking lot at the house.

Outside the accommodation you have great possibilities for hiking and with additional charge you may get active at the horsemanship.

The house is to rent as a whole and is perfectly suited for families with kids. When you arrive it might be necessary to watch out for the cows on the entrance.
