"A place for dreamers, created by dreamers".
We love that phrase, unfortunately, it didn't come from us but rather from the hotel itself and it sums the Gombit Hotel up perfectly.
It is thought out for those who seek a hotel as an artistic fascination and expression, not just a simple place to sleep.
Unsurprisingly, it was the first design hotel within the ancient walls that surround the "High Town" - the ancient borough of Bergamo.
Next to the Torre del Gombito, a thirteenth century stone tower, between being a collection of art and a workshop, the hotel is a great experimental laboratory and gallery where young artists work together to keep the interiors alive.
A place for dreamers, created by dreamers, indeed.
It beautifully combines the old and the new, as the images will attest, the ancient and the contemporary parts of the city and it’s a sort of eclectic space where you can basically feel free to express your creativity. Both the architecture and the interior designs of this place are interesting.
They include the use of pastel colors and simple but basic materials. The main goal for the designers of this place was to create a welcoming and very pure space.
