This country house - holder of a Best Rural Tourism Award - is situated just a few minutes away from the southern beaches of Mallorca.
The decoration hits just the right note combining, as it does, vanguard, almost minimalist decoration, with a sense of cosiness and uncluttered comfort - something that is normally difficult to achieve.
The main house has three living rooms, a dining room with a fireplace, and an arched lecture room. All rooms are decorated with light earthly colours and have their own terrace plus bathroom with Jacuzzi.
The swimming pool, indeed the whole hotel, affords an ample space surrounded by orange trees and an orchard that provides the best produce, so you may enjoy them in the succulent local dishes.
Son Bernadinet is an exceptional place for those who appreciate rural tranquility combined with a touch of class. We felt really well looked after by Alicia and Maria; the hotel was just on the right side of luxurious in terms of its tasteful decor, landscaping, discreet and efficient service, superb food and cultured guests. We stayed in a lovely, spacious Junior Suite above the dining room with a large terrace and gorgeous views. The pool is quite large and perfect for proper swimming as well as younger children. On the ground floor there are plenty of novels and art coffee table books to peruse. Massages by the wonderful Maria are available on request. The daily set menu never disappointed and was probably the best food we had on the island. Breakfast is a leisurely affair with plenty of variety and imaginative delicacies. It was pretty hard to leave.
