Skovshoved Hotel

The philosophy of the Skovshoved Hotel is one we very much adhere to: “Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you”.
It obviously works!
The Skovshoved has been named as one of the hippest small hotels in the world, by Conde Nast, no less. While we’re at it, International Living named it as one of the five best small hotels in Europe.
You can see why it’s been so successful over the years. It’s got a great architectural legacy going back to 1660, bucolic peace and owners who deeply care about their hotel and - just as importantly - their guests.
All 22 rooms have been refurbished in accordance with the great history of the place turning it into a romantic version of a seaside hotel.
The Hotel is surrounded by historic Fishermen houses, not far from Dyrehaven (Royal Hunting Grounds) with its forest and open fields. You can enjoy the area by bicycle, on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage.
This natural preserve has an abundance of wildlife, including 2000 herds of deer. Dyrehaven was started as far back as 1231 and fenced to a wild park with wild deer by king Fredrik III in 1669.
