Sa Pedrissa

Located between the sea and the mountains, the views that Sa Pedrissa offers over the Tramuntana Mountains and beyond are simply awe inspiring. The views are an integral part of the Sa Pedrissa experience. Indeed this 17th century farmhouse and olive mill belonged to the Archduke Louis Salvador of Austria, who used it as a look out post. Great choice for that!
All in all, there are nine rooms to choose from and each has fabulous views over the sea and is decorated in what we’d term a luxurious rustic Mallorcan style. Not too much, not too little, just about right. Each of them is beautifully done up, but the highlights of them must be the Tower Suite, which occupies two floors, and the Sea and Mountain Suite, an apartment with its own ample private terrace.
One of the many high points here is the breakfast. Basically, you take it on the terrace, weather permitting, and it consists of all sorts of fresh juices, yogurts, jams and breads. A great start into the day. The restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh ingredients is also impressive.
Sa Pedrissa is one of those places that is hard to leave, given everything that is on offer, but if you decide to venture out, then 20 minutes on foot will take you to the rock-strewn bay of Calle Deià. Soller itself is also very much worth a visit, an old town made up of picturesque narrow winding streets and a pretty impressive line-up of tapas bars, cafés and restaurants.
