Donamaria'ko Benta

Everything aspect of this small family run hotel works perfectly. The hosts, Imanol and Elixabet are charming and urbane, whilst the setting of Donamaria is within the awe inspiring, yet little known enclave of the Navarra Pyrenees. The two houses that make up the hotel are intimate, warm and relaxed, the main one of which contains the restaurant and other public areas. Books, games room, music and an honesty bar are also available for guests to enjoy.
It is decorated with a personal touch that radiates the personality of the hosts and inside the visitor will find many interesting pieces, antiques and even some toys to delight! The second, more modern building features all the rooms. Though simple, they are comfortable, spacious and personal. The main house is so attractive we are sure you will spend most of the time there.
A word of advice - the fireplace in the living room is a great spot to warm up those cold feet when coming in from the many local treks available. The restaurant in the main house offers a fantastic gastronomic experience. In fact, it is renowned for offering traditional cuisine with a Gallic touch (the hotel is close by to France) and has been doing this for over 150 years. In short a cosy little place in the best rural tradition. If cooking is your passion, you should join one of the many hunting and foraging trips on offer (availability upon request).
