The house once belonged to the Montelongo family: bourgeois and enlightened people who invested a lot of time and resources in the development of La Oliva. La Oliva is a special village full of history and culture that is considered a historical reference point for the island of Fuerteventura. So when you visit Casa Montelongo, you will immerse yourself in the true authentic heritage of La Oliva.

Its traditions are deeply rooted in the building. Its very substance, made from traditional materials, and the special, simple architecture hark back to its origins: There were many emblematic houses that populated this small corner of the Atlantic, the Casa Montelongo one of those that contributed to writing the beautiful and profound history of the island. Inside, you can expect a minimalist style with sleek modernity and clean lines that exude a sense of calm and relaxation. The light-flooded, open-plan rooms offer plenty of space for mediation. You can rent the house as a whole or as individual units:

• The old theatre: It can accommodate two guests. In addition to a dining area directly in the kitchen, there is an inviting living area, a bedroom with dressing room and a bathroom with rain shower
• The old house: This unit is also designed for two guests. Equipped with a bedroom, a large dressing room and an open-plan kitchen with dining room. The real gem is the extraordinary living room.

Both units share the pool area and the solarium. Both are cleaned daily.

The breakfast is prepared using local and seasonal produce.

For little extras, the unique concierge service provides you with private transport, a restaurant reservation, a soothing massage, a cultural visit, a hiking or cycling tour, a surfing course, a boat trip, a tour of the island of Lobos: whatever you fancy, you won't be deprived of it. On request, Casa Montelongo offers a laundry service for a fee.
