Here we have an exceptional home for you in Apulia, Italy. The small resort (Bed & Breakfast) is composed of several stone houses, the trullis, which offer you an ideal protection against the heat due to their construction from massive natural stone. This former "poor people's houses" was long forgotten, but they are becoming increasingly popular in the past years. The surrounding trulli houses of Alberobello even belong to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and are something really special. The bed & breakfast property completely renovated each of the trullis; brightly furnished it lovingly with great taste and equipped it with flat screen TVs, a safe and a Nespresso - coffee machine. Each house has a private bathroom (some with freestanding bath) and free Wi-Fi. There is one room for people with allergies, as well as a handicapped accessible room, just ask. The rooms are cleaned daily.
In the morning, read the newspaper and enjoy a continental breakfast buffet, which can be served in your room (or in your trulli). On the large estate you can relax in the garden, the outdoor pool or on the terrace. You can book various activities and for example, attend a culinary tour, attend a cooking class or try a yoga class. Rent a bike and explore the immediate surroundings. The "Leonardo Trulli Resort" is just a 10-minute drive away from Alberobello and the Adriatic Sea is about 20 km away.

A hidden gem

Date of stay 20/03/2015
We stayed at Leonardo's for 4 nights, our original booking was for just 3, but we enjoyed it so much we stayed longer. The accommodation in the the trulli is first class, comfortable, clean and luxurious. The stay was made even more memorable because of the way we were treated by Rosalba and all of her people. Rosalba herself was warm, friendly, charming, informative and everything you could wish for in a hostess. Breakfast was freshly baked and delicious every day. The home cooked dinner was first class. Overall, we spent 21 days touring Southern Italy, this was by far our favourite place to stay. Why a hidden gem, it was difficult to find but oh was it worth the trouble. Thanks Rosalba for a truly memorable stay
