Riad Kbour & Chao is more of a traditional Moroccan home than a hotel. Both the building itself and the people who run it, Nicolas and Jacques, are outstanding. Each of the 7 rooms is a mini paradise in the centre of Marrakesh and each contain different traditional features, such as, traditionally painted wooden arches, vaulted roofs, sculpted plaster, Tadelakt and Zelige tiles, hand painted azouak doors, tatoui ceilings, antique Chinese moucharabieh doors, stained glass, brick and bejmat vaults.. you couldn't find a more luxurious place to experience traditional Arab-Moorish architecture. You'll also find artifacts that were collected during Nicolas and Jacques' travels around Africa and the whole world. Outdoor, you can relax in a little oasis of peace and tranquility in the green interior garden, courtyard, and sun-filled patio.
In the morning, experience a delicious breakfast, either in your room or in the lush courtyard and garden. The breakfast consists of breads, Moroccan crepes, homemade granola and jams, yoghurt, fruit salad, cheese, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, and coffee. After that, explore the nearby medina on the bicycles available at your disposal. The Riad is located in a quiet Northwest corner of the medina, inside the old city walls, and so you'll be staying in the heart of the bustling centre of Marrakesh.
