Vigias Eternal Landscapes

Vigias Eternal Landscapes invites you to slow down, take a deep breath and listen to the rhythm of your body, as you gaze at the landscape through half-closed eyes. This is how your journey begins in this almost magical place.

The 12-hectare estate is home to five beautiful houses, set far enough apart for each one to preserve its own privacy, surrounded by stone, cork oaks and open sky. This land lies on the Portuguese border with Spain, which brings with it many stories and a crossing of energies.

The buildings are low and discreet; they follow the natural slope of the ground and “hide” themselves, so that from a distance they almost blend into the “dehesa” (meadows) and the rocks of the São Mamede Natural Park. The façades combine whitewashed walls and stone tones with more contemporary concrete elements and large glazed surfaces oriented towards the views.

Inside, the design is built around a neutral, earthy palette: stone hues, soft ochres, warm whites and light woods sit alongside concrete floors and walls. There is a sense of understated elegance and quality in the materials. The five houses are:

Casa Gaio, designed for two people, is a loft-style retreat with a single bedroom open to the landscape, a bathtub with a view and a suspended fireplace.

Casa Sol accommodates up to four people in two spacious suites, each with a private bathroom and large windows facing the sunset.

Casa Cal, ideal for families or small groups, has three bedrooms (two suites and one bunk-bed room), allowing up to six people to stay. It is also adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Casa Feto, with its two en-suite bedrooms, comfortably welcomes four guests, surrounded by nature and far-reaching views.

Casa Ocre, the main house of the ensemble, has two master bedrooms and a mezzanine with a single bed, with capacity for up to five people.

In total, the five villas can accommodate up to 21 people, spread across 10 bedrooms and one mezzanine, each with private access, a natural swimming pool, outdoor lounging area and fully equipped kitchen. Some feature bathtubs open to the horizon, others double fireplaces or wraparound terraces. All share the same aesthetic character, conceived for the comfort of the guests and with respect for the environment.

The houses enjoy abundant natural light that floods the interiors and are perfect both in winter and in summer, with underfloor heating, air conditioning or the warmth of a traditional fireplace.
