Located on the eastern side of the Algarve in the beautiful Sotavento nature reserve the Vila Monte Resort was built in 1993 and recently renovated to a fine standard. The views is lovely and encompass the Atlantic. It is an excellent place for the sports minded people or lovers of good food.

Vila Monte Resort, for example, includes its own golf academy, 2 heated outdoor swimming pools (around 26 °C), tennis court, sun terraces, health spa, beauty parlour and a health centre all on site. A short drive away you will have plenty of other activities such as boating, diving and fishing. It is, of course, located in prime golf country with some of the finest clubs in Europe which can be easily reached. The quality of its cuisine has been recognised with membership of the Confrèriè de la Chaines des Rotisseurs in Paris. All rooms are individually furnished and contain works by Adolfo, who set up this resort.
