The eighteen-century manor and old shipowner's house is located only a few steps away from the beautiful Martin de Ré port, in the historical center of the village. It has been remodeled to revive its historical roots and pay homage to historical French figures, artists and explorers through the fabrics, colours, and antique furniture in the rooms. The rooms have each been decorated with a particular person in mind and have been designed with French fabrics, from designers such as Ralph Lauren. You'll feel like royalty in one of the carefully designed rooms, each with a view of either the harbour or the manicured gardens. Take the opportunity to indulge yourself in the lavish lifestyle of some of France's most renowned Kings and Queens or embrace the explorer at heart and lose yourself in a room dedicated to the discovery of the American continent.
If the summer heat is too much for you, enjoy a poolside day at the sister hotel "Villa Clarisse" only a two-minute walk away. There is also soon to be a spa opened in the beginning of 2020 and so you'll be able to relax and enjoy a wonderful massage, whilst watching the ships sail in and out of the harbour. After, you'll find a plethora of traditional French restaurants and small antique shops, scattered around the village.
