What a wonderful place!

What a wonderful place! We arrived from the west, a long drive on small mountain roads. Upon arrival in the village, we rang the bell and Carlos welcomed us - the beginning of three wonderful days at Via Avis. The house has been restored in a perfect way with a lot of taste. Great breakfast and kind taking care by Carlos. It is a good test point on the Camino and for hiking tours. Close to León and it’s wonderful cathedral and old city. Muchas gracias, Carlos!

We highly recommend the experience we enjoyed when staying at Via Avis. Carlos and Diana are wonderful hosts, charming, helpful and warm. The accommodation has been thoughtfully restored with much attention to detail. It not only looks good it functions. We also loved meeting the other guests over a welcome drink and exchanging travel tales.
