Palazzo Ambasciatore is named after the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Napoli that lived in the noble 16th-century house in the 18th century. He was an advisor to King Ferdinand, but more importantly Queen Carolina's lover. It is said that the Queen stayed in the house multiple times when she came to visit her lover. Palazzo Ambasciatore is definitely fit for a Queen and will have you feeling like royalty as you indulge in the many luxuries to be found here.
After being abandoned for over 40 years, Szilvia and Giuseppe bought the house and restored it, modernising the facilities whilst retaining the original character of the building. The apartment is beautifully decorated with local features, including hand-embroidered linens, warm Trani stone accents, and traditional limestone cladding. The highlight is the private terrace, where guests can enjoy breakfast, aperitifs, and sunbath under the beating Puglia sun. Or go to the garden through your direct door to enjoy the pool and terrace.
The Palazzo does its best to care for the environment by using solar panels to provide the energy for heating and cooling. They also use only organic ingredients in the hearty breakfast and employ methods to keep waste to a minimum.
