Venice may be historic and, let's face it, pretty much on the beaten track, but it still has the capacity to surprise and reinvent itself. New places to eat, new places to stay are still opening up, and on the latter score, the Bloom B&B is a beautiful case in point.
What you get with the Bloom is a location in the heart of Venice’s historic town centre, which is a great start in itself. By that we mean Saint Mark’s Square, the Rialto Bridge, the Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana, the Accademia Galleries, the Fenice Theatre are all just a few minutes walk away.
But location alone is not simply enough. This is also a stylish and sophisticated bed and breakfast, not some old, stale place in need of a facelift. The mix here is a happy one of classical Venetian with modern concepts and design. And because the place is new, it has that fresh feel to it. All rooms are equipped with all those amenities required by the modern demanding traveler
Rooms at the Bloom B&B, for example, are all ample and each one (only three in alll) uniquely decorated in interesting and sexy colours that range from red to purple and earthy bare brick. What they all have in common, though, is a hell of a lot of attention to details coupled with modern technologies that range from free wifi, air-con and LCD Tvs. After all being romantic does not necessarily preclude hi-tech.
This is true for even the common areas. Breakfast is served in an stylish dining room which is itself exquisitely decorated and the top floor is boasts a tranquil reading room for guests as well as the B&B’s piece de la resistance - a terrace from where it is possible to take-in a most breathtaking view of the city. This is Venice, so just imagine the view.
It all makes for a memorable stay in a place that has B&B in its title but is in effect so much more in terms of class and location.
A Blooming good base to make the most of Venice.
This was absolutely worth it, to be listet under the hotels of secret places. I just loved it and was lucky enough to have a room right beside the living room and roof terrace. Thank you to the host Anthony!!!
Beautiful Rooftop terrace

I first have to precise that upon our arrival we got a room in their adjacent B&B Settimo Cielo.
Great location, friendly hospitality, stylish and spacious room (number 201), impeccable cleanliness, good breakfast, comfortable terrace with amazing views and free prosecco: all in all we had the most romantic stay in Venice. Would definitely come back and recommend this accomodation to friends!

Badezimmer / Dusche / Waschbecken / Bidet: super
Frühstück: sehr gut und ausreichend
Personal: sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
Empfehlung: immer gerne wieder...
Small but great

We stayed her for my sisters 50th birthday and what a fabulous time we had. Bloom B&B is everything its described as and more, the rooms are lovely, bathrooms really good and the roof terrace is the icing on the cake along with the complimentary prosseco bar! The staff here go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, they really are a huge asset to Bloom. The location is great, really central to all the sights and in a lovely square with good cafe's/restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to everyone

Unsere ganze Familie hat sich in Bloom B&B sehr wohl gefühlt.
A magical place to stay

We found Bloom through Secreplaces.com and loved the experience of staying in this small boutique hotel while in magical Venice. The views of the church and piazza, the location near the Accademia bridge, watching the sunset from the rooftop patio while drinking Prosseco were all wonderful. The downside was the 3 flights of stairs and no elevator which works well if you keep luggage to a minimum--a wise idea for travelling anywhere in Venice. Owners of this B & B also operate 2 other recommended accommodations in this same area.

We stayed at this beautiful B&B for 2 fantastic nights in a very hot July.
It is just like the description given and did not disappoint. From the location, luxury of the interior and the excellent air condition we could not have chosen anywhere better to stay in the city.
The staff were really help giving us advise on airport transport and places to visit they contributed to a wonderful few days in gorgeous Venice. I can not recommend this B&B enough..

Great little find, located in the centre of Venice, yet away from the hassle of the very crowded surroundings of San Marco.
A very clean and well maintained place, whose staff treats their guests with respect and consideration, making you feel truly welcome. The rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a sip of complimentary prosecco, accompanied with a great view of the nearby piazza was one of the highlights.
Good breakfast, Italian/French style light breakfast, a little short for those who like to have a hearty meal. Was good for us though.
No reason to stay elsewhere during my next trip to Venice.
