Palacio de Cutre

This 16th century palace is situated on a hilltop amongst the prairies and centuries old trees facing the Sueve ridge of mountains – known for the "asturcone" horses. The views are accordingly stunning. Javier Álvarez and Sandra Iglesias applied all their know-how into this establishment, the end result of which is a truly friendly and luxurious accommodation. It possesses comfortable living quarters where attention to detail, such as fine cushions on the beds, is very much in evidence, as well as a cosy dining room with exquisite continental style decoration.
A further nice touch is that each of the bedrooms is named after a local type of tree. Additionally, food here is delicious and takes in various regional specialities. It is worthwhile going to the Espinaredo (thorn-bush) to see the collection of Asturian horreos (barns), otherwise Palacio de Cutre is nearby to the exquisite Costa Verde.
